For the new Austral E-Tech hybrid SUV, which will replace the current Kadjar model in the lineup, Renault has confirmed pricing and specifications.
The new Austral can get up to 60.1 mpg and emits 105g of CO2 per km.
It is a member of Renault’s updated and electrified model lineup, joining the Megane E-Tech and Arkana E-Tech, and is propelled by a new 200 PS petrol hybrid drivetrain with a 1.7 kWh lithium-ion battery.
According to Renault, 80% of driving on urban highways can be done in full electric mode, using 40% less fuel than a traditional combustion motor.
With 19-inch alloy wheels, matrix LED headlights, flush roof bars, parking sensors with a rear-view camera, and a hands-free key card with keyless entry, the Techno is the entry-level model in the lineup.
The Techno Esprit Alpine comes with additional features like 20-inch wheels, black carbon fabric and Alcantara upholstery with blue stitching, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, electric power tailgate, electric driver and front passenger seats with massage functions for the driver, traffic & speed sign recognition with overspeed prevention, and adaptive cruise control with lane centring. For £36,695, this model is offered.
Top-of-the-range The price of the iconic Esprit Alpine is £39495. It has wireless phone charging, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, a 360-degree Around View camera, and four-wheel steering with 4Control Advanced.
A 12-inch OpenR entertainment screen, a 12.3-inch driver information display, a 9.3-inch head-up display, and a number of Google services, including as Google Maps, Google Assistant, and access to Google Play, are included in every version.
Up to 30 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and Multi-Sense settings, which offer four alternative driving styles, are included with Austral E-Tech.
